The WRPA 8 outdoor courts are open for play at 941 Vander Ave., York, PA 17403 located in Veterans Memorial Park. Outdoor courts are open for play year-round weather permitting.
Indoor play starts December 1st. at the Roll-R-Way roller skating rink, 940 Vander Ave., WRPA members pay $7.00/session, non-members pay $10.00/session
WRPA Clinics, Cost for members and non-members is $10.00/clinic.
Outdoor clinics are at 941Vander Ave. across from York Catholic H.S.
Note 1: Beginners Clinics are for players who have little or no training. You will learn stroke fundamentals, basic strategy, and the rules of play.
Note 2: Beginners Plus Clinics are for players who have had a number of beginners clinics and need to practice the fundamental skills and move on to higher level skills and strategy.
Note 3: Skills & Drills are for players who know how to play and would like build consistency in their stroke production and apply tactics and strategy, both offensive and defensive, i.e. third shot drop, dinking, transition play, lobs, overhead smash.
Note 4: General Session Etiquette outdoors, in our General Sessions, the winning team in a game stay on and the players may split up or stay together against the two players coming on. On busy days, the winner of two games should go off to give others an opportunity to play. When there are 8 paddles in the rack waiting, all 4 players come off. In general, Courts 1-4 are reserved for advanced players. Courts 5-8 are for all other levels of play.
Note 5: Parking, Beginning Aug. 21, no parking in the York Catholic lot during school hours, 8:00a-3:30p. You may park in the ice skating rink lot.
